Insurance Coverage

OSBIE offers a wide range of insurance to meet the needs of members, using Policy wordings that are tailored to the needs of school boards. Coverage for our subscribers falls under 3 Underwriting groups, in which members can join all or any of the three.

Underwriting Group I

  • Comprehensive General Liability Insurance including coverage for Non-Owned Automobiles

Underwriting Group II

  • Property, Boiler & Machinery, Crime

Underwriting Group III

  • Automobile Fleet insurance for Board-owned or leased vehicles

OSBIE also provides coverage for Joint Ventures, such as Transportation Consortiums, jointly owned property, and student services consortiums. Please contact our Member Services department for more information on our Joint Venture Programs, at memberservices@osbie.on.ca
