COVID-19 Update
You are no doubt aware that COVID-19 case numbers in Ontario are on a dangerous trajectory. While OSBIE is designated as an essential service, our CEO, Jim Sami, has instructed us to further limit foot traffic in our offices until such time as the number of incidents drop in our service areas.
As such, effective Monday, January 18 and until further notice, we will be reducing staff to one employee per department in Guelph, and one employee per week in the Toronto office. Given the critical nature of the next few weeks, it is important that we all maintain discipline and adhere to our well-established safety protocols. We hope that the number of incidents will soon go back to manageable levels as we get more people vaccinated and as the strength of the virus reduces over time.
In the meantime, it is our aim that we continue to provide our subscribers and our stakeholders with seamless and uninterrupted insurance, claims and risk management services across the province.
